Microsoft Will not Win the Web

一早打開NetNewsWire讀新聞，看到Molly提供的消息，真是既驚且怒。事情是這樣的，M$ CEO Steve Ballmer接受Business Week訪問的時候說：

“We won the desktop. We won the server. We will win the Web. We will move fast, we will get there. We will win the Web.”

“win the Web?” 就如同Molly講的，Web是大家的，不是你可以贏走的獎品。偉哉Tim Berners-Lee，創辦W3C果然是對的。

“won the desktop?” 目前的確是這樣。可是世界在變，麻州政府都打算要禁用Office了。

“won the server?” What server? 難道他說的是IIS？

更別說M$前任IE UI設計師都跳船改用Firefox了

這跟前陣子M$想聘請ESR的事情一樣好笑。

我忽然想起西雅圖宣言。
